What is C.Scale?

C.Scale models embodied, operational, refrigerant, site, and landscape carbon from early concept through construction. Teams can start with six project inputs, refine assemblies and EPD selections, compare scenarios and portfolios, export reporting data, and connect Revit takeoffs through the Tally 2.0 beta.

The current platform grew from EHDD's EPIC tool. AEC Hub reviewed the product pages, methodology, reference data, Tally 2.0 documentation, privacy policy, and a 2026 academic comparison of 13 building-scale LCA tools. AEC Hub has not completed a hands-on model comparison.

Limitations to know

Concept results are directional and uncertain; the vendor cites anecdotal differences of 5 to 30 percent from detailed assessments before customization. Tally 2.0 is a beta that the vendor says is not suitable for reporting or compliance, supports Revit 2024 through 2027, excludes MEP, and cannot use custom LCA data. Paid pricing is not public.
